Snapchat has Photoshop Features

Image
Snapchat has really done something cool. Now the app features a Photoshop-like option that lets you erase anything you want from a picture. Not only did it get rid of the 10 second time limit, but now it's doing even more to stay ahead of the game. There is also a new infinity icon that lets you loop your snaps so that people can look at your snaps for as long as they want. But the eraser is the newest thing they came out with and all you do is paint over the object that you want to erase and it automatically Photoshops it out for you and even fills in the space behind the object. What else does this app have in store for the future? We'll just have to wait and see. Link to Website

Microsoft Comes Out with A New Laptop Aimed Towards Students

Image
This Tuesday, Microsoft announced that they will be coming out with a new Surface Laptop. It includes all the same features as the Surface but with a longer battery life of 14.5 hours of video streaming. It also includes the new updated Windows 10 S, up to 512GB SSD, fabric keyboard, is compatible with the Surface Pen, and weighs less than 3 lbs. Personally, I am still aiming for the Surface Book because of it's versatility, but the Surface Laptop looks to be a very good investment, especially since it starts at $999 compared to the Surface Book starting at $1,499. This Breakthrough Will Save Lives

Image
Scientists have grown a fetal lamb in this artificial womb for weeks and has been very successful. They hope to be able to use this in the future on premature human babies to increase the mortality rate. This is an advancement in technology that can be used in the future like something out of a movie for couples that want a child but don't want to go through the hassle of carrying the child for 9 months. And they won't have to worry about not making it to the hospital when the due date comes, or the baby being premature. Link to Website

Now There's a Red Edition of the Galaxy S8... as the Screen Quality.

Image
Customers of the new Galaxy S8 phones are outraged with the red tint in the screen display of their new phones. Samsung says there are ways to change the visual quality of the phone just like any of their other Galaxies, but that isn't good enough. Apparently even after changing the visual quality like Samsung says, you can still see the red tint. So to fix the problem, Samsung came out with an update to fix the tint. I bought the S8 recently and I guess mine has the new update because in the drop down menu it has this "Blue light filter" and when it's off the screen has a bluish tint, which doesn't bother me at all, but when I turn on the filter, then it goes back to the red tinted screen. I really like this feature being the "Blue light filter" instead of the "Red light filter" because I know that when you keep some of these buttons on for a long amount of time, it could drain your battery and anything having to do with the visual qualit...

Tech Companies Spy on Students in School

Image
Tech companies are learning all about students and what they do on the internet and parents are very concerned for their children's safety. They are able to see everything from birth dates to what they look at online. According to the EFF, they investigated 152 tech services used in classrooms and found that they were not safe enough to keep student information private. Parents are not fully aware of what their kids are doing online and it can be very dangerous.   Link to Website
