Scientists have grown a fetal lamb in this artificial womb for weeks and has been very successful. They hope to be able to use this in the future on premature human babies to increase the mortality rate. This is an advancement in technology that can be used in the future like something out of a movie for couples that want a child but don't want to go through the hassle of carrying the child for 9 months. And they won't have to worry about not making it to the hospital when the due date comes, or the baby being premature.
